I get really sad sometimes when I think of different people’s heritage because virtually no black person born in America likely knows their true heritage since their ancestors were ripped from their homes and brought here with very little to record where they came from. I mean, most slaves came from the Gulf of Guinea, so countries like Cameroon, Ghana, and Nigeria, but still you can at best have a “probably one of those countries”.

Depressing stuff.
