But it isn’t very safe and leads to many instances of getting taken advantage of. Why would you advocate that? I dont think making it legal would make it any more safe. I mean compare it to sex abuse. Most happens with people you trust.
It’d be safer in a public building and not in a back alley way in someone’s vehicle. We’re not talking about simply making prostitution legal— we’re talking about taking it off the streets and regulating it in brothels with armed security where workers can be safer. And it’s nothing like sexual abuse. We’re talking about consenting adult workers doing what they choose to do with their own bodies and profiting from it, and shame on you for equating consensual sex for money to rape. They aren’t being taken advantage of, but are taking control of their own lives, sexuality, and bodies. Not only is liberating women a benefit in itself, but there are benefits from changing cultural attitudes about sex and female sexuality. When the government backs sex workers up with laws and protections, it puts them in a position to earn a bit more of the respect they deserve which would also make them safer.

to take advantage of one. Surely you cant deny something like this? I mean in the reality of it we have people that think if women even dress provocatively that means they are “asking” for it. Which is a horrible and disgusting attitude. I don’t
